Ostia Tools offer for sale this Boxford BUD Mk2 Metric lathe. 

The machine is original from factory single phase. it can be run from a normal household 3 pin plug. Ready to plug and play. 

The paintwork on this machine is not great in places. The compound slide, saddle and tailstock have all been repainted in the Paragon paint Boxford blue grey but the headstock could very much do with a lick of paint to match. 

But don’t let the paintwork put you off, it’s a great machine in good condition. 

it comes with the very sought after metric thread dial indicator. 

Also comes with a full set of change gears for Metric screw cutting. The Boxford BUD does not have the gear box like on the AUD so change gears are needed to adjust the leadscrew. it does have the power feed apron like the AUD.
