Ostia Tools are proud to be able to offer for sale this JET GH1440 Lathe in very clean condition. 

Ex-school machine and as such has done very little use. 

Supplied with:

– Quick change tool post with 8 tool holders – Also comes with the original 4 way tool post. The 4 way tool post can take tools up to 32mm but the QCTP seems a little small for this size machine and can only accept 16mm. It works with the smaller tool post but would really suit a larger QCTP.

– Fixed and travelling steady rests

– Full set of change gears for all gearbox configurations 

– 4 Jaw Independent Chuck 

– 3 Jaw scroll chuck

– Face Plate

– Drill chuck for tailstock – Not shown in photos

– Revolving centre

– Pair of centres and headstock reducing bush

Metric Graduations. Will do metric and imperial screw cutting. Power feeds on both axis. 40 to 1800 RPM through 12 speeds

Fitted with a 2 axis DRO to the compound slide and cross slide. Also fitted with machine light, coolant, interlocked spindle guard and telescopic leadscrew guard

Shown on a pallet that measures 1880mm by 800mm which gives an indication to the size of this machine.
