Boxford 500VSL Screw cutting Metal Lathe 3 Phase VSL

Ostia Tools are proud to be able to offer for sale this Boxford 500 VSL. 

This machine is in fantastic original condition. 

Full working order

3 Phase. Metric graduations and screw cutting gearbox. 5″ centre height

Supplied with a great selection of accessories to include:

3 Jaw chuck with both internal and external jaws

Quick change tool post with 4 standard tool holders and 1 parting tool holder 

Drill chuck and revolving centre for the tailstock 

Set of dead centres and a headstock reducing bush as well a drive plate and set of 3 lathe dogs all for turning between centres

5″ Fixed and travelling steady rests. 

Boring table which fits in place of the cross slide and compound slide for through boring. 

Faceplate

It also comes with an L00 spindle spanner which is not shown in the photos. 

We have fitted this machine with a new chuck guard perspex and a new coolant spout.

There is a crack to the perspex dial on the front but these can be easily replaced if required. 

The only thing missing from this machine that would complete it is the 4 jaw chuck
