Boxford 280T Centre Lathe 

3 Phase. Full working order. Metric Graduations

This machine is the X10 series version of the Boxford BUD in that it has the power feeds on the apron but it does not have a full gearbox and the screw cutting speeds and feeds are set through the use of the change gears. This machine comes with a full set of change gears although they are not shown in the photos. 

Comes with: 

3 Jaw chuck with both internal and external jaws. 

4 jaw independent chuck 

Full set of change gears for all screw cutting settings in both metric and imperial. 

Drill chuck for tailstock. 

Revolving centre for tailstock 

QCTP with 2 tool holders. (unfortunately we are limited on the number of spare tool holders we have available and so this is the most we can supply with this machine)

Fitted with coolant pump and fully plumbed in. Fitted with machine light. 

Paintwork is in very good condition. Certainly not perfect but its all original paint so it shows how much work this machine has done. 

This is the 6 speed model, Boxford also produced a 9 speed machine. 

This model does not have the thread dial indicator but we may have one from another machine we broke for spares so if we do, we will fit it to this machine.
