Description
The mi2 version of the Boxford routers is the model which is able to cut non-ferrous metals.
This machine is in very good condition having had little to no use. However the machine has been stored in a shipping container for a number of years and the increase in condensation in the air has caused some of the paint work on the edge of some of the panels to flake off. It’s a very minor cometic issue, certainly not enough to get them re power coated but enough to notice, especially on such a clean machine. You can see it on some of the photos.
The machine runs on the current software as supplied by Boxford but does not come with any software. You will need to purchase this directly from Boxford. The software is readily available and can be purchase by anyone. You do not need an account or to be an educational establishment. You will need the serial number to purchase it as it is linked to the serial number. The price for the software is around £600.
The router runs from a normal household 3 pin plug and the extractor requires a 16amp 240v commando socket. The extractor automatically kicks in when the spindle runs.
Machine is in full working order throughout.
There are not a huge amount of these Mi2 machines around due to the original retail price and even less so with the extractor.
We will supply this machine with an er20 collet spanner which is not shown in the photos. Will also come with power cables and computer USB cable
