Ostia Tools offer for sale this Chester Challenger GH1440 Lathe. 

3 Phase. Metric and imperial graduations and screwcutting. Power feeds on both axis. 

Full working order. 

Machine is supplied with:

3 Jaw scroll chuck, 

4 Jaw independent chuck

Drill chuck for tailstock

Headstock taper reducing bush and dead centre

Fixed and travelling steady set

Fitted with a 4 way tool post, machine light, coolant pump, thread dial indicator, micrometer bed stop and leadscrew guards. 

Realistically all you need is an MT3 revolving centre. 

It is missing the 30T change gear in the photos but we have a replacement on order and should be here in a week or two. If it’s sold before it arrives, we will forward it on to you. 

Sat on a pallet that is 1880mm long and 800mm deep which gives an idea of the size.
