Ostia Tools offer for sale this very special Viceroy AEW Horizon Milling Machine

Firstly it is 230v single phase which is rare for these machines and its ideal for workshops without 3 phase. 

Secondly it is the universal machine with both the vertical and horizontal milling heads. It has the rare overarm bracing bars. Over the past 10 years, I’ve seen 2 or 3 of these universal machines but never with this bracing bars

The machine is in really good condition for the age. However, there is a slight bit of wear to the worm gear in the power feed unit. it all still works but I’ve noticed a bit of wear on it and want to give an honest representation. 

The machine is fitted with the coolant pump and we have fitted a new spout, it has the low voltage machine light and fitted with the clutch which allows you to quickly change the speeds without stopping and starting the motor. 

Supplied with all the change gear for the power feed unit. It uses 4 pairs of gears to give 8 speeds. 

Comes with the Abwood vice on swivel base and the Clarkson Autolock collet chuck with the spanner and a full set of collets. 

Also has an INT30 to MT adapter and a shell mill holder

Also come with the original splash guards and a rotary table 

The only drawback on these mills is that they do not have a fine quill feed like on a drill press.
