Warco GH1322 Gap Bed Screwcutting Metal Centre Lathe DRO VFD Drive

Ostia Tools offer for sale this Warco GH1322 Lathe. 

Taken in part exchange, the machine has been modified by the previous owner adding the VFD drive and DRO. 

Originally a 3 phase machine, it now runs on a 230v single phase supply and the VFD gives a variable speed. This is beneficial as it allows you to bridge the gap between the standard spindle speeds on the machine. It is also fitted with an RPM read out. 

The lathe is also fitted with a 2 axis DRO. 

Fitted with a quick change tool post and supplied with 6 standard tool holders and 1 parting tool holders. These are mounted on the splash guard with some very handy 3D printed holders. 

It is supplied with:

Elliott 3 Jaw scroll chuck with both internal and external set matched jaws

4 jaw independent chuck

Fixed and travelling steady rests

Faceplate

Drill chuck for tailstock 

new revolving centre

new pair of dead centres and a spindle taper reducing bush

Full set of change gears for all metric and imperial screw cutting.

One point to note on this machine, it has had half a paint job which has been done with a brush to an average standard. The cabinet bed and the inside face of the headstock have been painted. We do have the remainder of the paint which was purchased from Paragon Paints which the new owner can decide whether they want to finish the paint job.
