Axminster Sieg SC8 Centre Metal Lathe 230v Single Phase with DRO

Description

Ostia Tools offer for sale this Axminster Seig SC8 Lathe. 

Not sure when Axminster stopped selling this machine but it does not appear in their 2020/2021 catalogue so must have been before then. 

Also previously sold under then name DRO PROS Seig Sc8 and a manual under this name can be found online. 

230v single phase 

Fitted with a 2 Axis DRO

Variable spindle speed with digital readout

Coolant pump

Machine light

The machine does not need any additional change gears for screwcutting metric threads but it would need some for imperial which are not supplied with the machine. It has a decent range of all the common metric threads but if you want a machine to do imperial threads, this is not the one. 

Good clean condition throughout

Supplied with:

3 jaw chuck with both internal and external jaws

Quick change tool post with 5 tool holders. Not sure on what this tool post size is called so might be tricky to find additional holders.
